We offer Forest School sessions three times a week, led by Izzy our trained Forest School leader.
Typical activities may include exploring and playing with water, mud, using the mud kitchen; creating dens or homes from natural resources for toy animals or themselves; looking at trees, bugs and insects in the garden/local area; activities with basic tools (e.g. vegetable peelers for whittling), nature walks to local woods/natural areas and many more!
For some sessions we take the children on nature walks to the local park or woods to explore the natural areas in our community. We also take part in the RSPB bird survey each January and the children have fun spotting and recording different types of birds in the local park.
